Duncan First Nations

On April 2013 All Peace Protection in conjunction with Duncan First Nations, Economic Development Officer, Chief and Council completed the Alberta Security Course in Duncan First Nations; this was the first Alberta Security course to be completed at Duncan First Nations. 10 Members attended the course and 10 passed (1 student scored a perfect 100%). All Peace Protection was able to employ all 10 workers and are currently employed by All Peace Protection.

All Peace Protection have worked real close with the oilfield industry in ensuring this program was a success.

All Peace Protection would like to thank the following companies for their support in the program:

  • Grande Prairie Regional College (Training)

All Peace Protection also wanted to continue its relationship and commitment to Duncan First Nations and the community in April 2013 a brand new E350 Ford 15 passenger van was donated to the Duncan First Nations community for the junior youth programme. In order for the youth programme to continue and be successful transportation was a key factor. All Peace Protection would like to acknowledge ESS Compass Camp services for their partnership in this donation.

With the success of the first Alberta Security Course All Peace Protection will continue with the goals and success of the security training.

Horse Lake First Nations

On March 2013 All Peace Protection in conjunction with Horse Lake First Nations completed the Alberta Security Course in Horse Lake.  This was the first Alberta Security course provided on the Reserve with 15 Horse Lake members attending and 14 successfully completing the course  (sadly, 1 withdrew due to illness). Upon completion of the course, All Peace Protection was able to employ all 14 Horse Lake members who all continue to be currently employed.

 All Peace Protection worked closely with the Grande Prairie-area petroleum industry in ensuring that this program was a huge success.

 All Peace Protection would like to thank the following companies for their support in the programme, special mention to Seven Generations:

  • BCEGI (Murray River Project BC)
  • Grande Prairie Regional College (Training) 

Due to the success of the first Alberta Security Course All Peace Protection has booked their second course scheduled for May 2013.
